St Helens' School, Hemsworth learn a valuable lesson

Barclay's Bank, in association with the local newspaper Express Group asked schools to enter a competition with a prize of £2,500 in an effort to learn about the importance of understanding finance. 'Smart Money' teaches children how to manage their money effectively from an early age.
Jon Trickett said:
"I was delighted that a group of such hard-working young people won this money for their school.
I'm also impressed with the work that Smart Money are doing in teaching young people about the importance of budgeting and looking after their money. Too many people are falling into difficulties now, especially in the current economic climate and these are life skills that should be taught from as early an age as possible."
