Armed Forces' Week celebrated in Hemsworth

The annual Armed Forces' Week was marked in Hemsworth by local MP Jon Trickett alonside a number of local veterans and veterans' relatives.

The event was organised by the Royal British Legion, Hemsworth Town Council and local veterans themselves.

Jon Trickett said of the occasion:

I was very pleased to be invited to such an important occasion. The sacrifice these brave men and women have made for our country is truly humbling and I am proud to have been elected to represent them in Parliament.
