Local MP Appointed PPS to PM
LOCAL MP APPOINTED PARLIAMENTARY PRIVATE SECRETARY TO THE PRIME MINISTER
Local MP Jon Trickett has been appointed as Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Prime Minister.
In the Government reshuffle that happened in the past week, Mr Trickett accepted the position and will in effect be Gordon Brown’s eyes and ears within the Labour Party. The role will mean working closely with the Prime Minister and spending time in No 10 Downing Street.
