Jon Trickett MP visits Northfield Community Centre
Jon Trickett last week met with Town Councillor, Adam Redfearn, who has worked hard alongside others to kit out the centre for use by the SESKU boxing academy. Adam and members of the Club have sought grant funding and also put in a lot of the labour themselves to make the facility fit for use. The centre is run by the
Jon Trickett said:
“I was very impressed. The room is padded out and has everything that is needed, including a boxing ring to ensure that local youngster get first class boxing facilities. My congratulations and thanks go out to Adam and his colleagues for all their hard work and commitment in making this a reality. Thanks also go to The South Kirkby and Moorthorpe Town Council who had the foresight to take on this building to keep it as a community facility."
