Consultation with local partnership on the future of social care

Jon met representatives of the Disabled Persons Partnership which represents the South East of the District including Featherstone. Here, Jon is photographed with the Chair of the Partnership, David Stephens, to discuss their concerns regarding the Green Paper on social care– “Shaping the Future of Care Together”.

Jon listened to concerns of the members of the group who were disappointed they had not been consulted as part of the process by WMDC. Jon agreed he would raise the matter with the Minister at a national level. The dialogue with the Partnership will continue
