Jon campaigns to keep Field Lane bus shelter

METRO are proposing to remove the bus shelter outside Beacon House on Field Lane which is used by residents from both sides of this road, many of them elderly. 

Field Lane is on a hill which is exposed to the elements.  When Jon visited the residents there was a good turn out of around 37 people who came out to show their strength of feeling against the proposed removal. 

Jon has written to METRO again appealing to them to reverse their decision.  He has also made the point that it would be heartless to remove a bus shelter which is clearly needed by the residents.
