Rifleman Luke Farmer honoured at moving ceremony

The tragic death of Rifleman Luke Farmer of Third Avenue, Upton was honoured by an enormous gathering of people on Friday 5th February.

Jon Trickett was in attendance and said of the event:

It was incredibly moving to see so many people who cared so much about this young man. We should all be incredibly proud to have amongst us young people who show so much bravery and courage for the sake of their country.

My heart goes out to all that loved him, as I know they will be grieving at this terrible time but I hope that they will continue to remember Luke for the bright and brilliant young man he so clearly was.
