Jon Trickett has pledged to represent the interests of people with autism and their families if elected.
Autism is a lifelong disability which affects the way that a person makes sense of the world and relate to the world around them. One person in every 100 has autism, making up over two million people across the UK but with the right support everyone can reach their potential and play a full part in society.
The National Autistic Society has thanked Jon for his support and looks forward to working with him in the future if re-elected.
