As you all know, the HS2 proposed route for our area could be devastating. There is absolutely no doubt about that.

To effectively fight the route in our area we need to join forces across the region. That’s why I am committed to bringing together all Councils from every one of the areas affected by the HS2 route in Yorkshire.

I will be asking local councils to work together so we can all campaign and fight to reverse the decision made on the route through our area.
