I’ve met recently with Leader of Wakefield Council, Peter Box, and District Councillors to discuss the proposed HS2 route through our district. We are all in agreement that the route through our area is unacceptable and will have a devastating and significant impact on residents. We are resolved to continue fighting and campaigning against the route in our area going forward.
